DeepSeek, a data-efficient AI assistant, faces removal from Italy's app stores due to data privacy concerns. After a complaint by a consumer rights group and inadequate response to data storage practices, the Italian Data Protection Authority restricts DeepSeek from processing Italian user data. This move follows a sharp decline in NVIDIA's market valuation, attributed to DeepSeek's increasing download popularity.
